By registering to this platform within the framework of the PAL Women project, an action co-funded by the European Union, I hereby give my explicit consent to having my personal data, as indicated in the register form collected, processed and stored according to the applicable legislation and Privacy Policy for a period of 4 months. The collection, process and storage of the personal data is necessary in order to proceed with the mentoring activity. I hereby declare I authorize the organizer to process my personal data. Furthermore, as PAL Women is an action co-funded by the European Union, I hereby also authorize the organizers to transfer the data to the European Union institutions and other project partners both for project reporting and implementation purposes.

 

Audio-Visual consent

 

In case a picture is taken or a recording is done with the aim of supporting the results of the mentoring activity, I hereby give my explicit consent to the organizers to film and photograph me during the interview and face to face meeting (whereas required) and to use, without restriction, the photographs and/or films bearing my image and voice recording in all types of publications and in any form of televisual broadcasting or communication via the Internet worldwide for the project promotion purposes. Furthermore, as PAL Women is an action co-funded by the European Union, I hereby also authorize the organizers to make available such pictures and filming to the European Union institutions and other project partners in the framework of the PAL Women project implementation.

1.       Liability

1.1.   The Learner shall not at any time be obliged to act on any information, suggestion, advice or guidance given by the Trainer as part of the services, but if and to the extent that it does so, it shall do so at its own risk.  The Learner hereby unconditionally and irrevocably waives any rights of action it may have as against the Trainer in relation to any such information, suggestions, advice or guidance. 

1.2.   The Learner is advised to take independent financial, legal or other appropriate professional advice before acting on any information, suggestion, advice or guidance given by the Trainer.

1.3.    The Learner acknowledges that any services provided by the PROJECT PARTNER ORGANISATION and the Trainer pursuant to this agreement are provided free of charge and in good faith. Neither the PROJECT PARTNER ORGANISATION nor the Trainer will be liable to the Trainer or to any third party for any loss, damage, costs or liabilities suffered as a result of this agreement, the existence of the relationships between the parties or the services provided.  Nothing in this clause shall limit or exclude any liability for death or personal injury, or which results from fraud.

1.4.   The PROJECT PARTNER ORGANISATION is not (and the Learner and the Trainer acknowledge that the PROJECT PARTNER ORGANISATION is not) liable for the services provided by the Trainer or for any acts or omissions of the Trainer.

2.       Term

2.1.   This agreement will continue in force for twelve months or until terminated by any party by written notice to the others sent to the addresses indicated under clause PARTIES.

3.       Confidentiality

3.1.   The Business and the Learner hereby permit the PROJECT PARTNER ORGANISATION to refer to the Learner, the Trainer and the existence of the arrangement contemplated by this agreement in any publication or material it may use to publicise and promote the work of the PROJECT PARTNER ORGANISATION. 

3.2.   Neither the Learner nor the Trainer may use or mention the PROJECT PARTNER ORGANISATION's name, logo or any other intellectual property of the PROJECT PARTNER ORGANISATION in any of their publicity materials or in any announcement, without the prior written consent of the PROJECT PARTNER ORGANISATION.

3.3.   The Trainer will collect personal data from the Learners. The term 'personal data' refers to such information which, directly or indirectly, may refer to you as an individual. Examples of such data are name, image, personal ID number, contact details, competition entries, selections made, behaviour or IP address. Personal data processing refers to any action that we or a third party that we have engaged take with the personal data, such as collection, registration and storage. Personal data may only be processed for specified and explicitly stated purposes and may not be subsequently processed for any purpose that goes beyond these purposes. The Trainer will process personal data that the Learner has given for the sole purpose of the Mentoring Procedure, as well as providing information and services in connection with the Mentoring activity and only for the period that the forementioned activity lasts.

3.4.   The Learner and the Trainer will keep in strict confidence the existence and content of this agreement and the Learner shall keep confidential all information, suggestions, advice or guidance provided by the Trainer to it as part of the services. 

All parties will keep in strict confidence all and any information of a confidential nature which it obtains about either of the other parties as a result of the arrangements contemplated by this agreement. This clause shall not apply in relation to any information that is already available in the public domain other than as a result of a breach of this clause by any party.
